Additionally: The very first thing I do with a property of interest is to Google the address:
Open a new tab> type in the address bar "google.com", press ENTER, type in the address (example: 2103 Sampson Street, Marysville, CA), click on "Google Search", click on the green arrow that is in the picture of the map, click on the little picture of the property that is in the balloon next to the address, wait for the picture to focus, click on the white arrows in the street, or click and drag the picture around to suit you.
You can take a virtual tour/walk/drive through the neighborhood; if it seems like/looks like a nice property in a nice to nicer to very nice neighborhood then you begin your "due diligence" on gaining info about the property.
Now try it with your own address, or a relative's address. Play with this tool... it can save you alot of time when considering a property.
